Lincoln Lions (Lincoln, RI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI), 86-59 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Lions host Hope (Providence, RI) to play the Blue Wave in a Division 2 bout on Monday, February 6. The Blue Wave come into the bout with a record of 1-14.

Next up, the Patriots play the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Saturday, February 4. Pilgrim will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 15-2 record after their 57-44 league win over Rogers (Newport, RI).
