New Mexico High School Basketball - Artesia overwhelms Lovington
February 10, 2023: Artesia, NM 88210 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) and the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), saw Artesia's basketball squad wallop Lovington by a tally of 62-33.
With the victory, Artesia improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Portales (Portales, NM) to confront the Rams in a 4A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 12-11. Portales won 52-31 in their recent league challenge against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Lovington will attempt to improve on its 11-12 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 14-10 record after their 52-31 league loss to Portales (Portales, NM).
