In Friday's non-league match, the host Burke Cougars basketball team scored a good 62-51 triumph over the North Central Knights.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 11. Burke will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Jaguars enter the match with a 10-8 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
