The North Central Knights basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Stuart Broncos to 52 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Niobrara/Verdigre for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2. North Central will meet a Cougars team coming off a 68-38 non-league win over Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 14-3.

The Broncos (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd County (Spencer, NE). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Boyd County ran past Chambers/Wheeler Central (Chambers, NE), 25-21, in a non-league contest.
