Kentucky High School Basketball - Jackson City fells Elliott County
February 10, 2024: Sandy Hook, KY 41171 Jackson City Tigers (Jackson, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY), 55-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Jackson City upgrades its record to 4-16 on the season. The Tigers host Owsley County (Booneville, KY) to play the Owls / Lady Owls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 13. The Owls / Lady Owls go into the bout with a record of 8-21. Owsley County won 52-48 in their recent non-league bout against Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY)
Next up, the Lions play the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Elliott County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-21 season record. The Black Devils go into the bout with a 3-20 record after their 94-40 non-league loss to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
