February 10, 2024: Garretson, SD 57030 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Garretson Blue Dragons (Garretson, SD) and the visiting Elkton/Lake Benton Elks (Elkton, SD), saw Garretson's basketball squad hold off Elkton/Lake Benton by a tally of 66-60.
With the victory, Garretson improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Blue Dragons host Parker (Parker, SD) to play the Pheasants in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Pheasants come into the challenge with a record of 2-17. Parker lost 54-47 in their recent league challenge against Canton (Canton, SD)
Next up, the Elks play the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Elkton/Lake Benton will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 50-41 league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN).
