North Carolina High School Basketball - Valor Preparatory Academy overwhelms Covenant Classical

February 10, 2025: Concord, NC 28027

The Valor Preparatory Academy Owls basketball team scored 80 points and limited the host Covenant Classical Warriors to 40 in the Owls non-league triumph on Monday.

The Owls now possess a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Jackson Day for a 1A Metro 8 game on Tuesday, February 11. Valor Preparatory Academy will confront a Mariners team coming off a 74-69 non-league win over Grace Academy (Matthews, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 5-16.

With the loss, Covenant Classical falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Warriors host Socrates Academy (Matthews, NC) to confront the Owls in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Owls go into the game with a record of 2-4. Socrates Academy lost 80-63 in their recent non-league game against Grace Academy (Matthews, NC)
