February 10, 2025: Chesterfield, VA 23838 The Thomas Jefferson Vikings basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Matoaca Warriors to 37 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Benedictine for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. Thomas Jefferson will confront a Cadets team coming off a 61-53 non-league win over Amelia Academy (Amelia Court House, VA). The Cadets record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Matoaca falls to 9-9 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Prince George (Prince George, VA) to face the Royals in a non-league match on Friday, February 14. The Royals enter the match with a record of 0-18. Prince George lost 60-45 in their recent non-league match against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)
