In Tuesday's non-league bout, the Converse Wildcats (Converse, LA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA), by a tally of 21-1.

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 16. Converse will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cowboys go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 25-15 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, LA).
