The New London Whalers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Fitch Falcons to 42 in the Whalers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Whalers now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Killingly for a non-league contest on Monday, February 14. New London will meet a Redmen team coming off a 43-29 non-league loss to Waterford (Waterford, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 10-9.

The Falcons (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ledyard (Ledyard, CT). The Colonels enter the Eastern Connecticut - 2 contest with a 13-6 record. In their last contest, Ledyard triumphed over Waterford (Waterford, CT), 57-42, in a league contest.
