Kansas High School Basketball - Bucklin knocks off Ashland
February 11, 2025: Bucklin, KS 67834 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bucklin Red Aces (Bucklin, KS) and the visiting Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS), observed Bucklin's basketball team overcome Ashland by a score of 49-36.
The Red Aces (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Macksville (Macksville, KS). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Macksville defeated Kinsley (Kinsley, KS), 66-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Blue Jays battle the Spearville Lancers (Spearville, KS) in a Southern Plains-Iroquois challenge, on Friday, February 14. Ashland will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 63-23 league win over Ingalls (Ingalls, KS).
