Louisiana High School Basketball - Berchmans Academy succumbs to Sacred Heart
February 11, 2025: Grand Coteau, LA 70541 In Tuesday's league test, the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) basketball squad defeated the host Berchmans Academy Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), by a score of 59-43.
Next, the Trojans clash with the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, February 12. Sacred Heart will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 22-14 record after their 50-44 league loss to Westgate (New Iberia, LA).
The Saints (7-15) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Lebeau, LA). The Hurricanes come into the 1A District 5 test with a 12-21 record. In their last test, North Central went down by JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA), 48-39, in a league test.
