February 4, 2025: Grand Coteau, LA 70541 The Berchmans Academy Saints basketball squad (Grand Coteau, LA), was crushed 83-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA)
With the victory, Westminster Academy advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Crusaders host North Central (Lebeau, LA) to meet the Hurricanes in a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, February 7. The Hurricanes enter the battle with a record of 11-19.
The Saints now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Opelousas Catholic for a 1A District 5 battle on Friday, February 7. Berchmans Academy will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 55-50 league loss to JS Clark Leadership Academy (Opelousas, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-12.
