February 11, 2025: Moline, IL 61265 Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Geneseo Maple Leafs (Geneseo, IL), 73-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Moline upgrades its record to 24-5 on the year. The Maroons travel to Quincy (Quincy, IL) to face the Blue Devils in a Western Big 6 match on Friday, February 14. The Blue Devils enter the match with a record of 25-2. Quincy won 76-33 in their recent league match against Alleman (Rock Island, IL)
The Maple Leafs now sport a 1-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a Western Big 6 match on Friday, February 14. Geneseo will face a Silver Streaks squad coming off a 66-46 league loss to Sterling (Sterling, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 8-21.
