February 7, 2025: Rock Island, IL 61201 In Friday's league contest, the host Rock Island Rocks basketball team scored a big 84-24 win over the Geneseo Maple Leafs.
The Rocks (22-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Rockridge smashed Danville (Danville, IL), 56-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Maple Leafs battle the Orion Chargers (Orion, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 8. Geneseo will attempt to better on its 1-21 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 21-5 record after their 77-55 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, IL).
