New Mexico High School Basketball - Roswell knocks off Hobbs
February 11, 2025: Roswell, NM 88203 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) and the visiting Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), observed Roswell's basketball team overcome Hobbs by a margin of 79-69.
The Coyotes (19-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM). The Cavemen/Cavegirls come into the 5A District 4 challenge with a 16-8 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad defeated Clovis (Clovis, NM), 58-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM) in a 5A District 4 challenge, on Friday, February 14. Hobbs will attempt to better on its 20-4 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-14 record after their 58-43 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM).
