The Sumter Gamecocks basketball squad (Sumter, SC), was crushed 82-46 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ridge View Blazers (Columbia, SC)

With the victory, Ridge View advances its record to 18-7 on the year. The Blazers host Blythewood (Blythewood, SC) to meet the Bengals in a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Friday, February 14. The Bengals enter the battle with a record of 20-4. Blythewood lost 64-52 in their recent league battle against Ridge View (Columbia, SC)

The Gamecocks now own a 12-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westwood for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Thursday, February 13. Sumter will meet a Redhawks squad coming off a 69-41 league win over West Florence (Florence, SC). The Redhawks record now stands at 16-7.
