February 11, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87108 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), observed Highland's basketball team overwhelm Belen by a margin of 65-29.
The Hornets (17-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grants (Grants, NM). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Grants was trounced by St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM), 64-40, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Belen will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record.
