The Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons toppled the visiting NCSSM: Morganton Dragons basketball team by a tally of 66-47 in Wednesday's league game.

The Gryphons now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game on Friday, February 13. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy will play a Eagles team coming off a 57-51 league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 3-11.

The Dragons (3-13) will now prepare for their test against Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Stallions come into the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A test with a 26-3 record. In their last test, Queen's Grant beat Carolina International (Concord, NC), 72-30, in a league test.
