Mount Anthony Patriots (Bennington, VT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Cosmos (Springfield, VT), 34-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mount Anthony upgrades its record to 5-13 on the season. The Patriots travel to Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT) to play the Colonels in a Marble Valley - A bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Colonels go into the bout with a record of 6-12. Brattleboro lost 52-25 in their recent non-league bout against St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT)

Next up, the Cosmos play the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a Marble Valley - B bout, on Wednesday, February 16. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
