Michigan High School Basketball - Waverly fells Okemos
February 13, 2023: Lansing, MI 48917 Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Okemos Wolves (Okemos, MI), 72-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Waverly upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Warriors host Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI) to play the Comets in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Friday, February 17. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Grand Ledge won 69-42 in their recent non-league bout against Eaton Rapids (Eaton Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Wolves play the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Friday, February 17. Okemos will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 51-41 league loss to East Lansing (East Lansing, MI).
