Minnesota High School Basketball - Richfield overwhelms Academy of Holy Angels
February 13, 2024: Richfield, MN 55423 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Richfield Spartans (Richfield, MN) and the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), saw Richfield's basketball squad wallop Academy of Holy Angels by a tally of 93-50.
With the victory, Richfield improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to confront the Eagles in a AAA Section 6 challenge on Thursday, February 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-17. Kennedy lost 53-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Fridley (Fridley, MN)
Next up, the Stars confront the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN) in a AAA Section 6 challenge, on Friday, February 16. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to improve on its 6-18 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 9-12 record after their 69-53 non-league win over St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN).
