Minnesota High School Basketball - Fridley overwhelms Academy of Holy Angels
February 9, 2024: Richfield, MN 55423 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN) and the host Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), saw Fridley's basketball squad wallop Academy of Holy Angels by a tally of 67-38.
With the victory, Fridley improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Kennedy (Bloomington, MN) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 5-16. Kennedy lost 65-34 in their recent non-league contest against DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN)
The Stars (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Richfield (Richfield, MN). The Spartans come into the AAA Section 6 contest with a 13-9 record. In their last contest, Richfield triumphed over St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN), 79-62, in a non-league contest.
