February 21, 2024: Fridley, MN 55432 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) and the host Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN), saw Columbia Heights's basketball squad hold off Fridley by a tally of 93-86.
With the victory, Columbia Heights improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Hylanders host Richfield (Richfield, MN) to confront the Spartans in a AAA Section 6 challenge on Thursday, February 22. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 17-9. Richfield won 87-39 in their recent league challenge against Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN)
Next up, the Tigers confront the DeLaSalle Islanders (Minneapolis, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 22. Fridley will attempt to improve on its 17-6 season record. The Islanders come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 79-77 non-league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).
