Wisconsin High School Basketball - Cameron thwarts Northwestern
February 13, 2024: Cameron, WI 54822 The Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI) basketball knocked off the visiting Northwestern Tigers (Maple, WI), 71-63 in Tuesday's league test.
The Comets (20-2) will now prepare for their test against Spooner (Spooner, WI). The Rails go into the Heart O'North test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Spooner went down by Barron (Barron, WI), 56-44, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 14-7 record. They play next when they host Chetek-Weyerhaeuser for a Heart O'North test on Friday, February 16. Northwestern will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-61 league loss to Ladysmith (Ladysmith, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-12.
