February 13, 2024: Nikiski, AK 99635 The Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) basketball crushed the host Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK), 66-29 in Tuesday's league test.
The Mariners (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Kardinals go into the 3A Peninsula test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Kenai Central was trounced by Bethel (Bethel, AK), 53-35, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tok for a non-league test on Friday, February 16. Nikiski will clash with a Wolverines squad coming off a 71-49 league loss to Ninilchik (Ninilchik, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-10.
