North Carolina High School Basketball - Triangle Math & Science crushes Ascend Leadership

February 13, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332

Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC), 59-7 in a league bout.

With the win, Triangle Math & Science upgrades its record to 16-7 on the season. The Tigers host Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC) to clash with the Grizzlies in a 1A Central Tar Heel bout on Friday, February 16. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 15-9.

Next up, the Aviators clash with the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel bout, on Thursday, February 15. Ascend Leadership will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 21-1 record after their 2-0 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).
