In Friday's league match, the host Ascend Leadership Aviators basketball team scored a good 32-18 triumph over the Southern Wake Academy Lions.

In their next game, the Aviators meet the Southern Lee Cavaliers (Sanford, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 5. Ascend Leadership will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record.
