North Carolina High School Basketball - Hunt overwhelms West Johnston

February 13, 2024: Benson, NC 27504

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) and the host West Johnston Wildcats (Benson, NC), saw Hunt's basketball squad wallop West Johnston by a tally of 62-37.

With the victory, Hunt improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Warriors host Fike (Wilson, NC) to confront the Demons in a 3A Quad County challenge on Friday, February 16. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 19-3. Fike won 46-25 in their recent league challenge against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats confront the South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Friday, February 16. West Johnston will attempt to improve on its 8-13 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 42-22 league win over East Wake (Wendell, NC).
