New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve nudges Quemado
February 13, 2024: Reserve, NM 87830 In Tuesday's league outing, the Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM) basketball squad nipped the visiting Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM), by a margin of 41-34.
The Mountaineers (12-8) will now prepare for their outing against Animas (Animas, NM). The Panthers go into the A District 2 outing with a 11-11 record. In their last outing, Animas was tipped by Magdalena (Magdalena, NM), 51-29, in a league outing.
The Eagles now own a 14-8 record. They play next when they host Cliff for a A District 2 outing on Thursday, February 15. Quemado will clash with a Cowboys/Cowgirls squad coming off a 39-30 league win over Animas (Animas, NM). The Cowboys/Cowgirls record now stands at 18-2.
