Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) and the host East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), saw Burns's basketball squad wallop East Gaston by a tally of 55-33.

With the victory, Burns improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Shelby (Shelby, NC) to confront the Golden Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 16. The Golden Lions come into the challenge with a record of 11-2.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. East Gaston will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record.
