The Taylor Griffins basketball squad (Taylor, MI), was outscored 60-45 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Carlson Marauders (Gibraltar, MI)

With the victory, Carlson advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Marauders host Anderson (Southgate, MI) to meet the Titans in a Downriver battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Titans enter the battle with a record of 5-14. Anderson lost 61-43 in their recent league battle against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI)

The Griffins now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league battle on Monday, February 17.
