Illinois High School Basketball - Universal toppled by Islamic Foundation
February 13, 2025: Villa Park, IL 60181 Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Universal Stars (Bridgeview, IL), 73-63 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Islamic Foundation upgrades its record to 9-13 on the year. The Chargers host ITW David Speer Academy (Chicago, IL) to battle the Pride in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 18. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 4-13. ITW David Speer Academy lost 63-38 in their recent non-league challenge against DRW College Prep (Chicago, IL)
In their next game, the Stars battle the Hancock Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 14. Universal will attempt to improve on its 4-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-19 record after their 78-52 non-league loss to Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL).
