In Friday's league test, the MCC Crescents (Morton Grove, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Islamic Foundation Chargers (Villa Park, IL), by a score of 68-46.

Next, the Crescents encounter the Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 1. MCC will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 8-17 record after their 57-43 league loss to Clark (Chicago, IL).

The Chargers (7-10) will now prepare for their test against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL). The come into the non-league test with a 2-12 record.
