New Mexico High School Basketball - Quemado triumphant over Reserve
February 13, 2025: Reserve, NM 87830 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) and the host Reserve Mountaineers (Reserve, NM), observed Quemado's basketball team overwhelm Reserve by a score of 75-45.
The Eagles (12-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Magdalena (Magdalena, NM). The Steers come into the A District 2 challenge with a 19-5 record. In their last challenge, Magdalena was routed by Cliff (Cliff, NM), 49-39, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Animas Panthers (Animas, NM) in a A District 2 challenge, on Saturday, February 15. Reserve will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-20 record after their 2-0 league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM).
