Michigan High School Basketball - Merrill trounced by Beal City
February 13, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, MI 48858 Beal City Aggies (Mt. Pleasant, MI) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Merrill Vandals (Merrill, MI), 56-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Beal City advances its record to 9-10 on the year. The Aggies travel to Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI) to face the Bobcats in a Highland match on Wednesday, February 19. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 5-13. Houghton Lake won 46-35 in their recent non-league match against Harrison (Harrison, MI)
The Vandals now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coleman for a Mid-State match on Tuesday, February 18. Merrill will face a Comets squad coming off a 45-24 league loss to Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Comets record now stands at 2-15.
