The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pequot Lakes Patriots (Pequot Lakes, MN) and the visiting Albany Huskies (Albany, MN), observed Pequot Lakes's basketball team edge Albany by a score of 62-59.
The Patriots (20-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Wolves enter the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Milaca was nudged by Little Falls (Little Falls, MN), 73-51, in a league battle.
The Huskies now own a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holdingford for a AA Section 6 battle on Tuesday, February 17.
