Indiana High School Basketball - Western Boone can't hold off Delphi Community

Delphi Community Oracles (Delphi, IN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Western Boone Stars (Thorntown, IN), 65-58 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Delphi Community advances its record to 10-8 on the year. The Oracles travel to Clinton Central (Michigantown, IN) to face the Bulldogs in a Hoosier Heartland match on Saturday, February 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-16. Clinton Central lost 67-31 in their recent league contest against Eastern (Greentown, IN)

In their next game, the Stars battle the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 17. Western Boone will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Blackhawks go into the contest with a 15-3 record after their 83-44 non-league win over Maconaquah (Bunker Hill, IN).
