Madison La Follette Lancers (Madison, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Madison East Purgolders (Madison, WI), 72-69 in a league bout.

With the win, Madison La Follette upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Lancers host Janesville Craig (Janesville, WI) to clash with the Cougars in a Big Eight bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 7-16. Janesville Craig lost 69-49 in their recent non-league bout against Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI)
