Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Benton Tigers (Benton, LA), 65-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Airline upgrades its record to 17-14 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Byrd (Shreveport, LA) to play the Yellow Jackets in a 5A District 1 bout on Thursday, February 16. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 8-16.

Next up, the Tigers play the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, February 17. Benton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record.
