Louisiana High School Basketball - Benton tops Parkway
February 7, 2023: Benton, LA 71006 Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA), 70-62 in a league bout.
With the victory, Benton upgrades its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA) to play the Chiefs in a 5A District 1 bout on Friday, February 10. The Chiefs come into the bout with a record of 5-12. Natchitoches Central lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Airline (Bossier City, LA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Haughton Buccaneers (Haughton, LA) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Friday, February 10. Parkway will attempt to upgrade on its 12-16 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 10-19 record after their 67-25 league loss to Captain Shreve (Shreveport, LA).
