The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) basketball nipped the host St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 62-59 in Tuesday's league test.

The Fightin' Irish (22-7) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Wilmington was tipped by Peotone (Peotone, IL), 58-40, in a league test.
