New Mexico High School Basketball - Bloomfield over Shiprock
February 14, 2023: Shiprock, NM 87420 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) and the host Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM), saw Bloomfield's basketball squad overcome Shiprock by a tally of 58-50.
With the victory, Bloomfield improves its record to 12-13 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Aztec (Aztec, NM) to confront the Tigers in a 4A District 1 challenge on Friday, February 17. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-19. Aztec won 58-52 in their recent league challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
Next up, the Chieftains confront the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Shiprock will attempt to improve on its 8-17 season record. The Broncos come into the challenge with a 17-8 record after their 88-71 league loss to Gallup (Gallup, NM).
