Cheyenne Desert Shields (North Las Vegas, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Cimarron-Memorial Spartans (Las Vegas, NV), 69-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cheyenne upgrades its record to 12-15 on the season. The Desert Shields travel to Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Rattlers go into the bout with a record of 20-5. Mojave won 100-26 in their recent league bout against Doral Academy Red Rock (Las Vegas, NV)
