Georgia High School Basketball - David Emanuel Academy fells John Hancock Academy
February 14, 2023: Sparta, GA 31087 David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host John Hancock Academy Rebels (Sparta, GA), 50-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, David Emanuel Academy upgrades its record to 5-15 on the season. The Eagles travel to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 17. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Thomas Jefferson Academy won 57-10 in their recent non-league bout against Monsignor Donovan Catholic (Athens, GA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Monsignor Donovan Catholic Rams (Athens, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. John Hancock Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 57-10 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA).
