February 14, 2023: Tyler, TX 75702 Tyler Lions (Tyler, TX) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Lions confront the Texas Tigers (Texarkana, TX) in a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge, on Friday, February 17. Tyler will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 7-0 league loss to Pine Tree (Longview, TX).
The Tigers now have a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Longview for a 5A Region 2 District 15 challenge on Friday, February 17. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Lobos team coming off a 2-1 league win over Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 5-9.
