Texas High School Soccer - Texas overwhelmed by Pine Tree
February 14, 2023: Texarkana, TX 75503 In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Pine Tree Pirates soccer squad scored a close 7-0 triumph over the Texas Tigers.
The Pirates (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Bobcats come into the 5A Region 2 District 15 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Hallsville got by Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX), 3-1, in a league test.
With the loss, Texas drops to 4-9 on the season. The Tigers host Tyler (Tyler, TX) to meet the Lions in a 5A Region 2 District 15 test on Friday, February 17. The Lions come into the test with a record of 9-6. Tyler won 1-0 in their recent league test against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX)
