The Wildcats now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Marshall for a 5A Region 2 District 15 test on Friday, February 17. Whitehouse will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Hallsville (Hallsville, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Longview drops to 11-4 on the season. The Lobos host Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 5A Region 2 District 15 test on Friday, February 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 7-7. Mt. Pleasant lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Tyler (Tyler, TX)
