Minnesota High School Basketball - Orono bests Chaska
February 14, 2025: Long Lake, MN 55356 The Orono Spartans (Long Lake, MN) basketball toppled the visiting Chaska Hawks (Chaska, MN), 77-68 in Friday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 15. Orono will play a Cardinals team coming off a 109-37 league win over Apollo (St. Cloud, MN). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Chaska falls to 10-13 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN) to play the Eagles in a AAAA Section 2 bout on Saturday, February 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-12.
