Oregon High School Basketball - Weston-McEwen bested by Grant Union
February 14, 2025: John Day, OR 97845 Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), 61-45 in a league match.
With the victory, Grant Union advances its record to 17-11 on the year. The Prospectors travel to Stanfield (Stanfield, OR) to face the Tigers in a 2A Blue Mountain match on Saturday, February 15. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 18-5. Stanfield won 73-48 in their recent non-league match against La Grande (La Grande, OR)
The TigerScots now own a 13-14 record.
